The Station (Hotel)

I visited The Station Hotel yesterday with my girlfriend Jade and we had a brilliant experience. The steak was cooked perfectly, but the real highlight for me was the peppercorn sauce. I’ve had peppercorn sauce many times before, but this one was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. It was so good I ended up dipping my chips in it as well as having it with the steak. Absolutely delicious. The service was great too. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere in the pub was really nice as well – relaxed, comfortable and a great place to enjoy a good meal. Overall we had a fantastic time and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and fancy a proper steak with an amazing peppercorn sauce.

Very kind staff, clean rooms and a great location to visit London from! After a overwhelming day you can surely calm down and relax in this establishment! The food in the pub is also great if you want grab a bite to eat. Really recommended!

The hotel served a very delicious English breakfast. The rooms are more spacious than what you would typically expect in London. The hotel also has a pub, which gets quite busy in the evenings. One downside is that there is no elevator, which could be inconvenient for some guests.

We were a party of four for a Friday night dinner in this surprisingly big pub! The staff were brilliant at getting us seated, we had booked but the pub was heaving with punters! After being quickly settled, we were given menus and ordered pre-dinner drinks that quickly appeared on out table. Our orders were efficiently taken with advice being sought, and given, on various dishes by the waiter. The food proved to be very good, and the wine, both the red and the white were excellent, and not so expensive for the quality! It is a great venue for dinner, however, given its size there was a constant loud volume of noise, and I am not sure if I'd go again unless it was less quiet of an evening during the week.

Fantastic atmosphere with a nice bar and delicious Breakfast menu! Our room was a bit warm and the lights were quite dim. Despite this I would definitely come here again. Nice location close to the train (just 20 minutes to the city) and great food in the restaurant/bar. Lovely staff as well, especially Charles, Freddy, the young woman serving us Breakfast and the bloke in the bar who recommended me a nice whiskey. Overall loved our stay!

Christmas lunch in a beautiful nook large enough for 12 adults and 8 children: We were attentively looked after by Stefanos and colleagues. Excellent pub grub, good draught beer selection, football on TV (quietly), stylish surroundings and a 1-minute walk to a mainline train station 20 mins from central London, what more could anyone want!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast (worth every penny). The first night we ate in the restaurant, and to be honest we weren’t expecting anything special….but it was excellent. Rooms were perfect, spotless bathrooms and complimentary Brownies courtesy of Georgy the chef were a nice tasty touch. Freddy and rest of the team deserve 5 stars.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Freddie was great when we booked in and gave us all the information we needed. Breakfast was fab. Wilma, our dog, was welcomed too and our stay was relaxed. We had an issue with our room door not locking, but staff we keen to help and sort it for us. We will stay again. Thankyou

The perfect place to stay during a London holiday! The rooms are spacious enough, very lovely decorated and provide everything you need. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and coffee and breakfast at the pub are great too! The location is just perfect if you like a little rest after a busy day in the city centre but still want to be close to all the points of interest. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Lovely stay near central London, staff were friendly and decent service. However rooms need to be a bit touch up. Will definitely come back!
